  21. This is an utility for delete cookies for common browsers. This program
  22. detects the cookies files for most common browsers (Internet Explorer,
  23. Netscape, Mozilla and Opera) and delete them with a simple click. The
  24. program have the option of preserve some cookies from deletion (only
  25. for IE). Useful for people who cares about his privacy without the need
  26. of disable the cookies feature (most popular pages needs it).

  36. This program is freeware, but only for private use (not commercial).
  37. For commercial use or inclusion in distributions that you gets paid
  38. (CD's, ...) contact with the author for authorization. You can
  39. redistribute it for free, whenever you use the original package. If you

  47. 3. Installation
  48. ---------------

  50. The program is distributed in two formats:
  51.  
  52. Installer: Execute the .EXE file and follow the instructions of the
  53. install windows.
  54.  
  55. ZIP file: Simply extract the program's files to the directory where you
  56. want to install them, and make a shortcut to the executable file.

  59. 4. Usage tips
  60. -------------
  61.  
  62. - If the program don't autodetect some browser and you have installed
  63.   it, select the appropriate directory and the program will search for
  64.   cookies files in the new directory. To preserve the new directory
  65.   for the future, press the Save Configuration button.
  66.  
  67. - If you have Opera installed but not Netscape, you will notice that
  68.   Opera is detected also as Netscape. This is because Opera identifies
  69.   himself also as a Netscape browser.
  70.  
  71. - The Create Desktop Icon button creates a shortcut in your Desktop to
  72.   allow you delete the cookies files directly without show the main
  73.   window. The Create Start Menu Icon button creates a normal shortcut to
  74.   the program in the Start Menu.
  75.  
  76. - If some browsers are detected, but no cookies files are found, it
  77.   means that the cookies had been deleted previously.
  78.  
  79. - The Internet Explorer Cookies directory may change for each Window
  80.   user. In that case, Cookie Monster only delete cookies for the current
  81.   user. On the other hand, it detect the cookies files for every user in
  82.   Netscape and Mozilla (Opera uses a single cookie file).

  84. - Due to the fact that Netscape, Mozilla and Opera use a single file
  85.   for all cookies, the Preserve Cookies option preserves all cookies
  86.   for each user in Netscape and Mozilla, and all the cookies in Opera.
